DH-Property transforms an 80-year-old mixed-use building in The Hague into modern commercial premises and two self-contained rental apartments.

DH-Property has acquired a remarkable mixed-use building at Prins Willemstraat 15 in The Hague. The building was owned by the same family for over 80 years and is now getting an entirely new chapter: future-proof commercial premises and two self-contained apartments.

The property is in a badly outdated condition and is structurally laid out as a single unit. Access to the dwelling upstairs currently runs straight through the commercial premises on the ground floor. A layout that no longer meets today's standards and expectations.

DH-Property will fully transform the building into a high-quality, future-proof property. On the ground floor, new commercial premises will be created and added to our rental portfolio for long-term letting. In addition, a fully separate entrance to the upper floor will be created.

The upper floor will be divided into two self-contained apartments. Both will become part of DH-Property's long-term rental portfolio. The permit application for this transformation was prepared in collaboration with Studio Schaefer.

Permit procedures often take a long time these days. Even so, DH-Property continues to believe in the strength of quality inner-city transformations. With this project, we once again make a lasting contribution to The Hague's housing stock.
