DH-Property has obtained a permit for the extension of its apartment complex on Loosduinseweg in The Hague. After a permit procedure of almost a year, the next phase of this project can begin.
The plan involves enlarging one of the existing apartments by means of a new rooftop extension, within which three studios will be created. This makes more efficient use of the existing building and adds new living space without taking up additional land.
At the same time, the extension marks the starting point for a broader improvement of the complex. The entire building will be thoroughly refurbished and upgraded to energy label A+++. In doing so, we combine the character of the existing Hague building with contemporary living comfort and a much-improved energy performance.
For DH-Property, this project is a good example of how existing property can be improved and used more intensively. By investing in extension and sustainability, we add extra living space to The Hague and, in our own way, contribute to easing the housing shortage.
With the permit in hand, preparations for construction can begin. Our construction team is ready, and we look forward to seeing the plans become reality over the coming period. To be continued.
