In October 2025, DH-Property acquired the characterful commercial building at Gedempte Burgwal 12 in The Hague, in the heart of bustling Chinatown. A value-retaining investment in a strong inner-city location, with a tenant who has been there for over 25 years.

The building covers almost 160 m² and has been let to the same party for more than two decades. It houses a lively and thriving hair salon, by now a familiar part of the neighbourhood. This stable rental income fits squarely within our investment strategy.

Alongside its ongoing development projects, DH-Property is increasingly focusing on acquiring value-retaining commercial buildings in strong locations with stable, long-term rental income. This acquisition fits that course exactly.

Behind the building lies a large plot of land. Together with architects Studio Schaefer, DH-Property is currently exploring the development options. This study is at an exploratory stage and could, in time, add further value to this property in the heart of The Hague.
